Thomas Chan

Thomas Chan is Founding Product and Operations Director at Expert Profile, where he owns the audit product from test to proof. He wrote the methodology that grades how seven AI engines and search surfaces describe a professional, and the system that corrects the sources behind the errors. He designed the bilingual panel, which grades English and Chinese names as separate records.

Before this he spent eight years writing the words people read before they trust a financial brand. He built app journeys at HSBC and insurance onboarding at Avo. At Bybit he ran a 16-person multilingual content team. He has also worked across wealth management and cross-border payments in Hong Kong.

He holds a master’s in Commerce from the University of New South Wales. He writes on content design for Ditto and Content Design London, and has spoken at TransPerfect GlobalLink NEXT.
